Business Interruption and Business Continuity Plan

As recent times have confirmed, an interruption of your “business as usual” can occur at any time.

Business Continuity Plan – do you have a plan in place to reduce the social and economic effects of a natural disaster or other property losses? The main objectives of business continuity planning are to:

  1. Protect people (employees & visitors) and property
  2. At a minimum, get your critical business operations back up and running quickly
  3. Minimize the amount of time you are unable to provide your goods or services to your clients and customers

Do you have:

  • Employee contact information
  • Supplier/vendor contact information including account numbers; contact information, etc.
  • Key contact information including your bank, your creditors, your insurance agent, your accountant, etc.
  • Business functions forms including insurance claims; payrolls; accounts receivable; utilities; support systems including computers, communications; transportation, etc.)
